My Father, My King

A lot has already been said about fathers, and may be what you will read in this blog won't be something new as well, but I think anything what we say or do for our fathers can never be enough.

I was thinking to start my personal blog since long but was waiting for a special occasion and nothing could ever have been better than Father's Day.

Father, Father is not just a word, Father is an emotion. A father is not just an ordinary person, he is the symbol of selfless, unconditional love. Selfless because he spends all his life for his family, his children without thinking about himself, his needs, his wants, his hobbies, his likes, his health, his future, anything doesn't matter for him especially in front of his children, and unconditional because he never expects anything in return. When we walk our first step, he is the one who cherishes it the most. He rarely shows his love through words but he is the one who gets more happy in our happiness and more sad in our sadness, he feels proud in our small achievements and prays for our success and happiness in his every prayer, he might scold us for not performing well in studies, for not behaving well and for so many things but all he wants is to make us a good person but it's just he doesn't say it all that's why we also rarely show our love through our gestures. We think many times before saying "I LOVE YOU PAPA", we think many times before giving him a hug or asking one. Deep down we all know that they also need all these things, but we just can't normalise it. But why? Why can't we understand the pain and care behind their scoldings, why can't we see that they also want us to share our personal life with them and also on the same time they also want to share their sorrows and pain with us.

I lost my father when I was 13, but the years I spent with him will always be the most beautiful years of my life and I know that nothing could ever replace that in my life. My father was my best support, my best guide, my best friend.

I might not have realised the pain of losing him back then but with every passing year I realised his importance in my life. PARENTS are the most purest form of blessings that anyone can ever have and, lucky are those who are blessed with them.
So this father's day just don't post your emotions on Social Media, say it to him, express it through your gestures, normalise saying " I LOVE YOU PAPA".

So lastly ending this with my quote which  I wrote for my father:
